The concession area of Northern Resources Trading for industrial-grade limestone is situated on Plot No. 4 in the Special Economic Zone Authority of Duqm (SEZAD), Wilayat Duqm, within the Al Wusta Governorate of the Sultanate of Oman. The quarry is approximately 470 km southeast of Nizwa City, the ancient capital.

This quarry development is located in the central part of the Interior Oman Plateau. The central plateau, which encompasses the Al Wusta Governorate, features a vast flat-lying terrain that extends northward to the Oman Mountains and southward to the Dhofar Governorate. The concession area lies within the Haushi-Huqf Uplift, characterized by End Proterozoic to Early Permian sedimentary basement formations.
