Alpha Mining LLC is a leading producer of high-quality Gabbro aggregates in the Sultanate of Oman. The quarry is situated on Plot No. 1460, Block-1, at Ghadafan in Wilayat Liwa, North Batinah Governorate. It is located approximately 256 km NorthWest of the capital, Muscat.

Nestled at the foothills of the Oman Mountains, the quarry overlooks the Wadi floodplain, with the Batinah Coast and the Gulf of Oman to the East. The Oman Mountains form an arc-shaped range in the northern part of Oman, stretching 700 km from Khasab in the Musandam Governorate to Sur in the Sharqiyah Governorate, with a width varying between 50 km and 130 km. The hills in the Liwa area are part of the Oman Mountains and have resulted from the emplacement of the Samail Nappe, which consists of greyish to brownish-green igneous rock outcrops.

The quarry is well connected with Sohar Port and Free Zone, Industrial area by asphalt road till the plot boundary. It is around 10 km west of the Port Sohar, 1.50 km west of the Muscat Express Way and around 15 km South West of the Sohar International Airport.
